Plants & Animals

If you like art inspired by plants or animals (who doesn't these days?) here is a huge inventory of various artists working within this realm.

My particular favorite are Gerda Steiner & Jorg Lenzlinger

Mr.Chestnut

My friend Sonja in Switzerland sent me a little package this morning (thank you Sonja)! Enclosed was the cutest tube of chestnut spread. I am enjoying Mr. Chestnut on the tube - he's like a chestnut crossed with an inuit, crossed with some mint. So fresh! I found him in various other hilarious versions on the "Clement Faugier" website. So now you're wondering where you can find a prickly little coat of Chestnuts and some green leaf pants? I'm thinking this may be have to be next year's Halloween outfit.

No Art

When I first started this blog, I thought that I would put up all my art on it. I was really excited about it. Todd and Jessica showed me how to set up the blog because I am often afraid of technology. They also help me with the facebook account. I'm like their 60 year old friend in this way. At any rate, I found I was never blogging because i just don't produce enough art to put up everyday. This made me feel like a big loser. How do those arts and crafty blog ladies produce so much work?? I've since freed myself from this "my art only on the blog" concept and opened it up to include a wider variety of things - I won't even list all the things it might include because that would be fencing in the blog again.
